Hurricane Relief – JANUARY

While Seattle-based Pinnacle’s Florida properties weren’t hit hard by last fall’s hurricanes, the company’s employees weren’t quite as lucky: Many of their homes were damaged. To help them, the company asked its employees to make donations, which it matched. In all, roughly $50,000 was distributed to about 45 employees in Florida. The awards, which were based on severity of damage, ranged from $500 to $10,000, according to company CEO Stan Harrelson.

DAMAGE CONTROL: This home of an American Management Services employee took a hit from a hurricane.
